1st XI Hockey Show Incredible Determination at National Tier 1 Lower North Island Hockey Tournament

The 1st XI Hockey team have been based in Palmerston North this week for the National Tier 1 Lower North Island Hockey Tournament. Our boys have played positive attacking hockey and fought hard in all their games. The two losses were extremely close games that could have gone our way with the boys showing incredible determination. The management and coaching staff have been hugely proud of the boys, they have never given up, they have always looked to improve and be better and they have made this week a fun, enjoyable and successful week for which we are thankful.

Seven of our boys play their last tournament game today. They have been involved with this side for a number of years (5 in one case) and their level of influence and leadership has been huge. As a team and a College, we thank them for their commitment to the team for their guidance and support of the younger players.
