PARENTS AND FRIENDS ASSOCIATION

Whether it's the warm welcome at the New Parents evening, the joyful connection at the Mothers and Sons Breakfast, the tennis ball machine helping your son perfect his game, or the insightful parent evenings on effective studying—these are just a few of the wonderful ways the PFA supports our College community.

About PFA

The PFA is dedicated to connecting the parent community and providing fundraising support to benefit our boys. As a parent at our school, you are automatically a member of the Association. If you’d like to take a more active role and join our Committee, please reach out to us at parentsandfriends@lindisfarne.school.nz .

Your PFA Impact

The PFA plays a crucial role in enriching the educational journey and overall environment for our boys. Funds raised by the PFA are thoughtfully allocated according to our four core funding priorities:

  1. Programme Development: Prioritising initiatives geared towards educational achievements
  2. Resource Acquisition: Focusing on acquiring items that directly enhance student well-being
  3. Mentorship: Nurturing character development and personal growth.
  4. Capital Items:  Directing funds towards items that notably impact student well-being

Our fundraising efforts are always aimed at fostering community engagement. We achieve this by organising events, projects, and activities that strengthen the bonds among parents, teachers, the College Council and students.

Get Involved

Volunteering is a fantastic way to get involved in school activities, see how events are organised, and meet other parents. Our annual gala requires over 80 volunteers, and the funds raised are directly reinvested into the College.

The PFA would love your support for various events throughout the year – whether it’s floral arranging, maintaining gala equipment, helping with the BBQ at sport events, or donating goods and services.

If you’re interested in joining our vibrant PFA community, please contact us.
