Lindisfarne student Zac Fitzgibbon recently entered the 2021 Race Unity Speech Awards Hawke’s Bay regional heat which was held at the Clive Community Hall.
There were 6 speakers from 3 different schools, with each of the students expressing their own personal views on the subject of race relations in Aotearoa. This year’s topic is 'Kia kotahi te hoe – Paddle as one'. It was an evening rich in depth, courage and challenges. We'd like to congratulate Zac who is the first from our College to participate at this event.
