Fame The Musical - Tickets Available Now

The 80’s were the era of the shoulder pad – they were everywhere from Dallas and Dynasty to the British House of Commons worn by Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher. The rule of thumb with shoulder pads in the 80’s was the bigger the better and they became the ultimate symbol of power dressing for women. Other fashion crimes of the era were super chunky jewellery – think Mr T of the A team, leopard prints for men and women on everything from underwear to wedding dresses, Swatch watches and that ever present symbol of the 80’s; leg-warmers worn by everyone even if there wasn’t a gym within 50 kilometres!

Get set for a fabulous trip down memory lane with the biennial Iona & Lindisfarne joint production of Fame - The Musical, where 80's fashion is loud and proud!
