Welcome to the Lindisfarne College Gala webpage! As a parent, we know there's a lot to take in, so here’s a quick guide to everything you need to know about this key event, an early highlight on the school calendar.
Be Part of the Lindisfarne Gala Magic!
The gala is not just our biggest fundraiser of the year—it’s an unforgettable day of fun, connection, and community spirit! Held on a Sunday morning, the gala bursts with energy, featuring stalls, games, and activities for all ages. Whether you’re a current or prospective parent, it’s the perfect opportunity to experience the warmth of Lindisfarne, pick up amazing bargains, and support our boys.
Why Do We Host the Gala?
The gala, run by our Parents & Friends Association (PFA), raises vital funds that enhance the Lindisfarne experience for our boys. It’s more than just fundraising—it’s about fostering community, building connections, and welcoming families like yours into the heart of Lindisfarne.
Donate Goods
Between now and the end of February, we’re collecting:
Second-hand quality items: Clothes, toys, books, games, sports gear, kitchenware, homeware, or electronics (clean and in working order)
Homemade delights: Preserves
Raffle and auction prizes: We would really appreciate firewood, food bundles, beauty bundles, dinner vouchers or getaway packages!
Meat: Donations of lamb
Drop-Off Info
Second-hand goods: Leave them in the Long Room (near the chapel). Please label clothing bags with size and gender
Homemade items: Deliver to reception in the days leading up to the gala
Volunteer Your Time
It takes over 80 volunteers to bring the gala to life! We’d love your help with:
Running a stall on the day (clothing, cakes, books, linen, produce, sports & more!)
Sorting items before the event
Setting up and packing down gazebos and tents the day before and following the gala
