Teacher of ESOL

Lindisfarne College is a state integrated Year 7–13 day and boarding school for boys in Hawke’s Bay. We have a proud record of outstanding academic and co-curricular achievement that forms an important part of our special character. Our college site, located on the outskirts of Hastings, offers expansive playing fields and top-class facilities for our young men to develop their sporting and cultural passions.

We are seeking a teacher of ESOL to commence at the start of Term One, 2025. The start date can be negotiated if necessary.

The Lindisfarne learning working environment encourages innovative teaching and seeks to meet the individual learnings needs of each student. The successful candidate would join a well-resourced, supportive, collaborative and enthusiastic Languages department and will support, primarily, the English language learning needs of our small community of International Students.

Hostel Supervisor

We are seeking a Hostel Supervisor to join our boarding staff team. The successful applicant will report to the Director of Boarding and will be responsible for supervising and assisting with the pastoral care and educational needs of all boarders.

The position is part time, offering 16.5 hours per week, 5.00pm till 10.30pm, Tuesday till Thursday, term time only. Evening meals are provided on duty days.

Ideally, the applicant will have experience working with youth, primarily boys, or in a School/ Hostel environment. Persons with an ability to form positive working relationships with young men in a structured environment with high standards and expectations will be ideally suited to the role.

CRM Database Co-Ordinator

Part-time | Flexible Hours | 12-Month Fixed Term

Salary Range: $60,000 - $70,000 FTE

Lindisfarne College is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented CRM Database Co-Ordinator to lead the onboarding of our new CRM system for the Old Boys Network. This is a unique opportunity to combine your technical expertise, project management skills, and marketing acumen to enhance alumni engagement at one of New Zealand’s premier boys’ schools.

What You’ll Do

  • CRM System Implementation: Work with our CRM provider to configure and launch a user-friendly system tailored for alumni engagement.
  • Data Cleansing & Migration: Audit and migrate alumni data into the new CRM, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
  • Launch & Training: Introduce the CRM to staff and the Old Boys community, creating user guides and delivering training sessions.
  • Engagement Tracking & Reporting: Set up dashboards and reporting tools to monitor alumni engagement and generate actionable insights.

What You Bring

Essential Skills:

  • Proven experience with CRM platforms or IT systems implementation.
  • Strong attention to detail, especially in data management.
  • Project management expertise, with a track record of meeting milestones.
  • Marketing or communications experience, ideally involving alumni or community engagement.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for liaising with providers, staff, and alumni.

Desirable Skills:

  • Familiarity with database management, email marketing, or event tools.
  • Experience in an educational or alumni relations setting.
