Dear Grandpa
How are you doing during these trying times? Have you been exercising daily and keeping a healthy diet? I've been practising my letter writing in my English classes, and I reckon I'm pretty good at it. I am now a year eight student at Lindisfarne college, roughly a kilometre away from where we live. We have to wear a blazer every Friday and a neat tie, belt, and white shirt. We recently received our maths assessment results, and unfortunately, I didn't pass with excellence, boohoo. Our social studies assessment is about Sir Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay's striking Mount Everest ascent. We are still waiting on our results. And finally, in art, we are drawing a comic book cover. I can't make it perfect because my drawing skills are horrendous.
I hope this letter cheers you up, Grandpa.
Dear Nam
I'm so grateful to have you In my life and especially when we have the same birthday on the same day. I pray that you don't get Covid and that you stay friendly and healthy and not sick in the hospital because I would not like that if it happens. By the way, I still have that pillow that you gave me when I was six on our birthday. I hope our birthday will be better this year and that we don't have a bad year like last year. I sent you the photo that I accidentally took and that you can see how young you looked, but you still look young now. Stay safe Nam.
I went fishing a few weeks ago at the Tutaekuri river. My friend Liam and I and our dads went glamping, so we were not in a tent that smelled as stinky as a skunk. On this trip, I caught three fish. They were all super skimpy and microscopic dad was fuming that I acquired the colossal fish, and he was left with the miniature fish. We went fishing for two days and one day we walked over ten kilometres up the river. After that we had a nice hot shower and veg for tea and definitely went to bed as early as possible.

Lindisfarne is a good school because there are only boys in the school and not girls because they can be a pain sometimes. Each year we do a Summer sport and a Winter sport. I have finished my summer sport which was cricket. I know you love cricket. For my Winter sport I chose to play soccer. What I'm looking forward to in Lindisfarne is having more friends, getting good grades and just having fun. All I want this year is more Positivity and less Negativity. Lastly, I'm looking forward to going on trips to Lindisfarne more often. I am an adventurous person so I am looking forward to having more trips.
